Hello, fellow pet owners. My name is Linda Gibson, and I am the sole proprietor of AT YOUR SERVICE Pet Valet.
After 20 years of working as a reporter, freelance writer or editor for magazines and newspapers, I changed directions. My enjoyment of dogs and cats, an interest in animal welfare and the desire for independence led me to start a pet care business.
My own pets currently include Pearl, a lab-mix weapon of mass destruction, and four cats: KitKat, Ziggy, Taffy and Garbo.
All were from shelters except Taffy and Garbo. They came with the house I bought. After their owner died, the relatives kicked them outside to fend for themselves. A neighbor and the real estate agent fed those cats for a year until someone (me) bought the house and agreed to take care of the cats.
A pet sitter could have helped!
My goal is to help you give your pets the best care even when you are
pressed for time or away from home.
